Risk disclosure

This page explains the main risks of copy trading. Please read it completely before you register or connect a strategy.

This is a draft and must be reviewed by a lawyer before publication.

1. Trading leveraged products

Forex and CFDs are leveraged products. Small price movements can lead to large gains or losses relative to your deposit. You may lose your entire deposit. Depending on your account type, losses may exceed your deposit.

2. Copy trading specific risks

When you copy a strategy, trades are executed in your account based on the strategy account. Your results can differ because of account size, execution time, slippage, spreads, swaps, rounding of position sizes and technical interruptions.

3. No guarantee of results

Past performance of a strategy is not a reliable indicator of future results. Strategies can go through long losing periods. Displayed figures may be based on a limited period.

4. No investment advice

CopyRoom provides information about strategies and technical access to copy trading. This is not investment advice and not a recommendation to buy or sell any financial instrument.

5. Your broker

Your trading account is held with an independent, regulated broker. The broker's terms, fees and risk disclosures apply in addition to this page.

6. Technical risks

Connection problems, platform outages or delays on the side of the broker or the copy service can lead to trades being opened or closed late, or not at all.
